The Ohrid Twilight Gala – An Event For The Books
Think of a fusing celebration of history, nature, and beauty, all in one evening. Directly south of the Ohrid Riviera, a place of legend, where St. Naum’s ancient walls and balmy gardens echo the history of the peacocks. Here, above the waters of one of the oldest lakes in Europe, you can host the wedding of your dreams.
A Place Of Legend
Arriving by private boat, guests can take in the breathtaking scene of the sun setting over the mountains, while, in the distance, the stone façade of the monastery sparkles in the golden hour. It’s a moment high-achievers remember for a lifetime. It’s calm, yet powerful.
In The Gardens Of The Monastery
In the gardens of the monastery, long wooden tables draped in linen and the glow of dinner candles, set the scene for the rustic luxury of the evening. On the menu is a a fusion of modern macarondian cuisine, the staples of which are sourced directly from the region.

Charming Cultural Presentations
We set the tone of the evening with the guiding theme of Culture:
A traditional Macedonian kaval (flute) performance
Folklore dancers performing gracefully between the audience seated at tables
A narrator bringing life to the legends of St. Naum and the the “springs of life”
Later in the evening, a band or DJ will keep the celebratory vibe going and star-lit ambience alive.
Wishes on the Water” Ceremony
At the end of the evening, we will honour each guest with a ceremonial floating candle lantern. As a community on the bank of the lake, we will set our lanterns free to float, joining dozens of others glimmering on the water and representing hope, prosperity, and community.
This ceremony becomes the emotional centrepiece of the journey.
